Helping Newcastle University achieve maximum event attendance

The Challenge

Newcastle University’s ENGD Conference is an annual event, which costs local businesses around £20,000 each to attend and plays a critical role, generating employment for students as a direct result of their work being demonstrated at the event. We were challenged with the task of promoting the event to achieve maximum attendance from businesses and students alike.

The Campaign

We designed, printed and delivered the creative for the whole campaign including; personalised direct mail invites, emails and PURL’s (Personalised URL’s), event brochures, lanyards, table place names, posters, pens, gift bags, post-it notes and large format including; vinyl flooring, signage and digital wall paper, all of which we installed at The Baltic and then un-installed at the end of the event.

The Impact

Critically, the event reached capacity, attracting around 200 local businesses with record footfall figures, generated significant ROI and a number of job offers were made to students.
