The Challenge

Increase awareness and footfall of an existing bus route.

The Campaign

We created a highly personalised, folded mail piece which landed on doorsteps of around 9,500 houses. Each mail piece was addressed to the homeowner along with a personalised map of their nearest bus stop and the distance of travel from their address to two City centre locations.

In addition to the highly personalised information, each recipient also received a free bus ticket to encourage them to use the route, which they filled in and handed to the driver as they got on the bus.

We created the design as well as producing the personalised print and fulfilment. 

The Impact

This highly personalised postal campaign received a very positive response rate with over 14% completed tickets handed in to the drivers across the route.

We are now working with GNE to work on ways of maximising these responses and increasing uptake of other tickets.
