Reaching out to an existing pool of data using personalisation – speaking directly to the customer

The Challenge

To increase uptake in Christmas lunch bookings form their corporate travel group database.

The Campaign

Beamish already had an established database of clients to target, but wanted a refresh on its advertising approach for seasonal bookings. Historically, Beamish had sent a letter and envelope format with information about seasonal lunches. We created a personalised 150mm² self-mailer with an updated and fresh design. The new format allowed the piece to be more creative, and include additional information about what was on offer.

The Impact

Following the project, Beamish saw their seasonal lunch bookings increase compared with the previous year.
“We are really pleased with the return we saw following our seasonal campaign with AlphaGraphics. We saw a definite increase in group visits during the Christmas season, and we also had more groups taking advantage of the lunch package than we had the previous year. We also found that the campaign raised awareness to a wider audience, so we’ll follow up again this year to reinforce the message.
